Theme on this device, timezone, date format, base currency, and market rates.

Settings → General sets appearance and workspace defaults for new quotations and projects. Changes here do not rewrite records you already saved.

Each heading has a ? help control in the app.

Appearance

Dark mode applies on this device only. Teammates keep their own theme. Dark mode does not change PDF or Excel exports.

Regional defaults

• Timezone for dates and scheduling
• Date format (for example Mar 5, 2026 vs 05/03/2026)
• Base currency for trial balance, income statement, and journal totals

Existing quotations and projects keep the values they were saved with.

Market rates

The card shows daily mid-market rates. Use them to prefill new quotations and Books rows. Existing deals keep the rate on each record. See Currency and rates.
